Lydia is 6 months!

Happy Six Months to this sweet girl!

We can't believe that our little princess is already six months old! I've been saying this a lot...but I'll say it again: Why is it that pregnancy is sooooooo long, seriously it takes forever; and after the baby finally gets here time flies by??? Anyway, our sweet Lydia is the happiest baby ever. As you can see by looking at these pictures.  This past weekend my sister Kami came up to my parents and we took her six month pictures. Didn't she do such a good job? We love them! The only problem is deciding which ones to print!

At six months Lydia smiles, laughs, and giggles at everything! The other night in her tub she was looking down at her bath toys and just giggled at them the entire time. I don't know why they were so funny floating in the water...but apparently Lydia found them very amusing. Lydia is also sitting up by herself. She really does pretty good! The only time she tips over is when she is trying to grab something.

 

I love this picture. She is always moving her jaw up and down like she is chewing her cud or something, and Kami got it on camera. This girl is super busy...I mean super busy. At two months she rolled over from her belly to her back! She has been rolling over like that ever since. She always wants to stand up and look around, and she is grabbing everything! She is not a great napper. She will only sleep for about 45 minutes to an hour tops; but she does sleep better at night. She goes down between 7:30 and 8:00 and typically I only get up once around 3 or 4 to feed her, afterwards she goes right back down to sleep until 7:00. However, this past week I have been getting up a lot! I'm pretty sure she's teething. I feel like I have a newborn again when it comes to the sleep deprivation. Last night she only got up once though, so I'm crossing my fingers that tonight will be the same.

Lydia's favorite thing is her pink fuzzy blanket. When she goes to sleep she buries her face in her blanket and cuddles it. It is the cutest thing!

 

 

 

We are so lucky to be blessed with such a sweet girl! We don't know what we ever did without her. She fills our home with so much joy and laughter. She is growing up so fast I just want to slow the clock down a bit, but since our babies are only little for a short while maybe that's what makes our time with them all the more precious.  We love our Lydi Bug so much! Happy 6 months baby girl!
